Expertise Physio welcomes instructor Audrey Long for Part C at our clinic.
This course is the third level in the MDT post-graduate training. It focuses on advanced cases of lumbar problems as well as introduces the utilisation of McKenzie in the extremities – the lower limb. The duration of this course is four days and also includes the evaluation and treatment of 5-6 real patients with back pain, buttock pain, hip pain, knee, pain, leg pain, ankle or foot pain using the Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy methodology.
We congratulate the attending physiotherapists in their quest to start applying the MDT principles not only to the spine, but now also to the extremities for the following problems: hip arthritis, labrum tears, knee osteoarthritis, meniscus tears, ligament sprains (ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL), sciatica, piriformis syndrome, pulled muscle or muscle strain, IT band syndrome, tendonitis or tendinopathy, bursitis, shin splints, Osgood-Schlatter, dislocation, subluxation, instability, Achilles tendon problems, sprained ankle, arch pain or plantar fasciitis, heel spur or Épine de Lenoir, bunions, hallux valgus, flat feet, plantar metatarsalgia, mammer toe, turf toe, Morton’s neuroma, numbness, pins & needles, tingling, etc.
