Our clinic welcomes again instructor Nik Hazledine, this time for a Level B Course.
This is the second post-graduate course part the MDT basic-level program. During this course clinicians learn how to evaluate and treat neck and thoracic spine problems using new clinical reasoning skills based on the McKenzie-MDT methodology. It has a similar format at the Part A course: an online self-learning comprehensive component with testing, followed by a three-day in class component with the instructor and 5-6 legitimate patients.
Physiotherapists attending the course will now know how to apply the MDT method to the following conditions: trauma, whiplash, headaches & migraines, torticollis, neck arthritis, stenosis, disc bulge, disc herniation, cervicalgia, facet problems, degenerative disc disease, radiculopathy, cervico-brachialgia, muscle tension, etc. Congratulations to all therapists who have completed this second level training!
