In this course, hosted by the McKenzie Institute USA we “sharpened our knives”. Don’t worry, we are not operating any time soon. We mean our figurative knives, as in our handling skills.
When we assess and treat patients, we often assist them and use various techniques to help them move better. Some procedures are used frequently, while others are only needed in particular situations. As this event had a high instructor to student ratio, it was the ideal time to practice the techniques that are less often used and learn new ones. As our therapists at Expertise Physio all hold their Diploma in MDT, they also did their share of helping others perfect their skills as well.
